What should I wear?

Footwear

Our ceremony will take place on one of the lawns of Reader Rock Garden, reached via sloped and rocky pathways that wind up the hill. Please bring appropriate footwear - consider wearing flats with your outfit, or bringing a second pair of shoes.

Dress Code

We want you to be comfortable and also look pretty snappy! We request that guests wear semi-formal attire.

We encourage you to wear florals, and to play with our wedding colours: pastel purple, green, and grey. We also encourage you to wear kilts and tartan fabrics if you got 'em!

Please avoid shorts and sneakers, as well as overly-formal gowns and suits.

Some ideas:

• Suits and blazers, with or without tie.
• Mid-length dresses
• Dressy jumpsuits and sweaters

We're getting married in the fall, in a climate that's hard to predict and a little capricious. The average high temperature in September is about 18°C. Significant rainfall is unlikely but possible.
